The type of books that I'm interested in reading it these days.
The type of books that I've recently tended to read is human development books. These kind of books help people improve their professional lives as well as their personal lives. I have read alot of books on this subject the past two months, to name just a few : “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie, “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People ” a business and self-help book written by Stephen Covey , and Napoleon Hill’s book “Think and Grow Rich”. These books enable you to find your strength points in your personality, and help you achieve what you would like to accomplish. But what I really found it remarkable is "Prepared" a book written by Diane Tavenner, founder of Summit Public Schools. In her book she has offered an amazing guidebook for raising and educating kids, what I like most about this book is that its vision of success is bigger than teaching student to master reading, writing, mathematics, physics, but there are also other important skills , for instance Self-confidence, the ability to manage their time, and the sense of directing to help them determining what they want in their life. Schools that follow Summit Public programme do not use the traditional and typical educational model where a teacher stands in the front of the students lecturing for about 30 minutes. Summit's unique model assures that with support of their teachers all students are responsible for setting and developing their own learning goals and testing their knowledge. This approach allows students to collaborate with each others, and thus these skills will help them throughout their lives especially in their workplace. If such an approach applies accurately in our schools it will serve many people in our country.
